description : The uber-fun group project for the 2001 Digital Video Special Effects class at Georgia Tech. Cam 4 Productions (myself, Ralf Habel, and James McKernan) joined forces again to produce Hard Case from scratch. We shot footage, edited, wrote custom effect software, conjured effects, and, unfortunately for the audience, served as the principal actors. My primary contributions for this project include the opening animation, lightning effects, and shared effort on the shooting/editing/sound work. Check out the class website for more info and a making of movie describing how the main effect (walking through walls) was accomplished.
